- Founder of The Maizie Day Foundation, a soon-to-be non-profit organization dedicated dedicated to dispelling the "pitbull" stigma as well as other myths surrounding many breeds of dogs. Freelance Photographer for rescue groups and animal shelters in the Philadelphia area. Maizie Day is 9 year old dapper "dachshund/pitbull" mix and the inspiration behind The Maizie Day Foundation. Miss Day is a registered Canine Good Citizen and the star of an upcoming memoir. Her big little sister, Babealicious (also pictured here) is a 6 year old American Bulldog mix and the star of her very own blog- Homeless to Harvard. Currently we are fostering a wonderful pit bull named Edge. He is the first official foster of the Maizie Day Foundation. Check out his blog- Edge the Pitbull.
